In the latest release of accepted QOF register codes, the NYHA (New York Heart Association) codes have been removed from the HF subset so are no longer recognised QOF codes.
The codes no longer included are:
420300004 - New York Heart Association Classification - Class I (finding)
420913000- New York Heart Association Classification - Class III (finding)
421704003 - New York Heart Association Classification - Class II (finding)
422293003- New York Heart Association Classification - Class IV (finding)
Do you have any patients who only have this diagnostic HF code? If this is their only code they will no longer appear on your HF QOF register.
