Many practices have asked us why their monthly QOF aspiration payments have gone down. 71 points have been taken out of QOF year this compared to last year - aspiration payments are made based on previous achievement. This is the same this year but for a reduced number of points so you will see around a 12% reduction on your monthly aspiration payments.
However, for most practices you will have seen a large increase in your global sum payments which should more balance it out and ensure cash flow. But for those who have noted the reduced QOF payment, this is reason why.
