Following last month’s edition, so many Emis practices asked about the release of their GPAD exception codes (previously released to S1 practices). See update from Emis below:
GP Appointment Exception Flag
In EMIS Web 9.22, as part of the GP Appointments Data (GPAD) programme, we have added an appointment Exception Reporting functionality which will enable practices to indicate when a patient has requested an appointment on a future date.
This will support the ACC-08 'Percentage of appointments where time from booking to appointment was two weeks or less' indicator which is included the 2023/24 Investment and Impact Fund (IIF).
The functionality will be released inactive to your organisation and we will send you an email to let you know when it will be activated.
