Seasonal Flu program for Health and Social Care Workers

If you have signed up to this additional enhanced service it is important you code these patients appropriately to ensure they are not claimed for under the seasonal flu program. THIS SERVICE IS A MANUAL CLAIM via CQRS and to ensure you are able to audit/identify these patients for claims, our recommendation would be to code seasonal flu vaccination and then add the following code:

A manual claims portal has been set up on CQRS to enable practices to make claims on a monthly basis. NHS Digital cannot mandate that GP system suppliers (GPSS) create template searches for their customers to support these claims. Confirmation of this will need to come from individual GPSS or practices will have to undertake their own searches.
