Are you considering employing an apprentice? Do you want a course more suited to the role they play in primary care?

We have many conversations with practice manager’s about the apprenticeship qualifications being too general and not specific enough to the role the apprentice is employed for in Primary Care. So, as a result of this, we can now offer you:

Business Administration Level 3 (Medical Administration)

This qualification is modular and can be matched to business support roles within Primary Care. The qualification includes a module that specifically aims to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work in a healthcare setting. Upon completion of the unit, the learner will be able to explain the roles and responsibilities of the medical administrator in a healthcare setting and describe the main admin procedures and systems they would be expected to follow. The learner will be able to describe the main medical principles relating to the role and explain the roles of key teams and personnel in the healthcare setting. They will produce medical documents using appropriate software and audio equipment and have a basic understanding of medical terminology used in the healthcare setting.

This will ensure your apprentice is responsive to the role they are playing within your practice - allowing them to become a proficient member of the practice team.
