Gemma's charity sky dive |
Here at Insight we would all like to congratulate Gemma, our project co-ordinator, who successfully completed her sky dive this weekend. After 4 failed attempts due to bad weather conditions, Gemma jumped from 10,000 feet to raise money for RNID. Well done Gemma, we all think you are mad but very brave! :-) |

James Bowman joins the Insight team |
James Bowman, an experienced military practice manager, has joined the Insight team. James was in the Army for 22 years so is a very experienced practice manager. He has exceptional working and training knowledge of Emis PCS and Emis LV, as well as all practice management working procedures. Throughout his time as a practice manager in the army, James has trained many new members of staff, as well as moving around from practice to practice. James is based in the North West and is looking forward to getting out there. |

Fiona, who is based in the London area, has previous PCT and secondary care experience as well as having previously worked in primary care. Insight launch their new training facility |
Insight Solutions have opened a new training room at 5 The Courtyard, Bromsgrove and have successfully run their first training day for South Birmingham PCT. Facilities include a boardroom style table for 12 people, projector and up to 6 PC's so bookings can be taken for general meetings, presentation style training or hands-on. Another consultant joins Insight ... |
Insight are delighted to announce the appointment of Kate Pilton. Kate joins our already experienced team and brings with her many years of experience working in primary care, as a practice manager, as well as a very experienced Emis LV/PCS background. Kate is looking forward to visiting practices to 'make a difference' and has already created a practice calculator for the new Clinical DES, details of which will be announced shortly. |

Compufile Consortium wins tender for Data Quality tool in Wales |
Following an announcement at the All Wales Practice Manager's Conference last week, Insight are delighted to be part of the Compufile Consortium, the successful team awarded the contract for the new Wales Data Quality Analysis & Reporting Tool - Audit+. The consortium consists of Informatica, Compufile and Insight Solutions, the latter who will be providing all training & education relating to the project. Insight look forward to the upcoming road shows to roll-out the product, details of which will be released shortly. |
