Search and Reports
Searches & reports training can be tailored to your organisations needs, allowing you to quickly & accurately report on data. Practices will also benefit from knowing how to provide the required data for reporting to PCTs/LHBs. Sessions could include hands on training, seminar based training, one to one sessions, and we can even create handouts for your practices to follow, for specific searches or reports.
Many PCTs/LHBs have also employed us to carry out data collection at their practices, as we are experienced in all of the main clinical systems & can quickly extract the data required, visiting multiple practices in one day. We can then provide centralised reporting to the PCT/LHB & even analyse your data if required.
Data Input Tools (Templates, Guidelines, Sophies)
Getting practices to record data accurately & consistently can be a tricky business. Data input tools can really help in the collection of accurate consistent data. We provide a bespoke data input tool service providing templates, guidelines, Sophies etc across all of the clinical systems, designed exclusively to meet your needs. This is coupled with comprehensive instructions for installing the templates and accurately collecting data. If needed we can even visit your practices install the data input tool and provide training on its use. Brought together these elements all help to provide for a successful project.
QMAS
The Quality Management and Analysis System, known as QMAS, is a national IT system which gives GP practices and Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) objective evidence and feedback on the quality of care delivered to patients. It supports the Quality and Outcomes (QOF) element of the GP contract. Our comprehensive training packages will help the learning to view QMAS web pages and enter achievement indicators, view feedback reports, navigate through the system, explore functionality & find links to QMAS related documents and websites. This training is available in a variety of formats including on-site & seminar based training.
QOF Reporting Tools
Ensure that your assessors are equipped with all the skills necessary for them to make a significant contribution when carrying out assessments. Apollo software training provides the QOF Assessor with the knowledge to install the Apollo software, schedule report runs & use the QOF Wizard effectively.
Data Quality
In this new world of sharing data, never has it been more important to ensure that your data is of the highest quality. Attendance at this seminar will help you to understand why this is important, how you identify poor data with a view to correcting it.
QOF
Many QoF assessors are not given the necessary skills to ensure that they make a difference when carrying out an assessment. With a greater understanding of QoF in general, what to look for and best practice, assessors are able to make a significant contribution to the visit.
Ensure that your assessors are equipped with all the skills necessary for them to really feel that they are able to help practices where it is required.
Enhanced Services
Help your practices to meet local or national needs through our comprehensive enhanced services training, Whether a LES, DES or NES we can offer your practices insight into the service required, accurate data collection & also the reporting required.
Caldicott Leads and Information Governance
Are your Caldicott guardians aware of the six principles of the Caldicott report? Are they aware of the responsibilities of their role? Our seminar provides information on the roles & responsibilities of the Caldicott guardian along with extensive information on the Information Governance Framework.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
Disasters, big or small, can occur at any time & can seriously affect the services that you provide. Have you planned for all such incidents? Do not leave this to chance - not being prepared for a disaster can have a long-term damaging affect on businesses & income.
This seminar is available for groups or individual practices. In groups, topics will be generalised, for individual practices, content will be much more specific.
Also available is a Disaster Recovery Toolkit, which can be purchased separately. This includes templates for a complete practice & IT plan as well as an on-line document storage bank, essential for ensuring that all of your policies & procedures are up-to-date and accessible if ever a disaster occurs.
