Disaster Recovery |
Last year, a fire at practice manager Ruth Wood’s surgery in Leeds destroyed the building, along with invaluable data and documentation.

Adverse Reactions to Influenza Vaccine |
Safety is paramount and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) are there to monitor the safety of the influenza vaccine. If a clinician suspects an adverse reaction to the vaccines has occurred then it should be report to the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) using the Yellow Card reporting scheme. |

Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) |
This new legislation came in to force on 1 October 2006. Fire certificates have been abolished and provisions for fire safety became the responsibility of a 'responsible person' e.g.the Partners of the practice, or the PCT/PCO.
The responsible person must carry out a fire risk assessment,highlighting risks and removing or reducing them |
